What information does the Remember Nhu collect and how do we use it?

Remember Nhu sometimes uses small bits of data called cookies to aid users’ experiences on the site. Remember Nhu does not collect personal information tied to these cookies or assign an identification number to a user’s computer for tracking purposes. Remember Nhu collects personal information if you chose to make a donation over our website. Remember Nhu will not sell, lease, or rent any user’s confidential information.

Subscribing to e-news communications?

Remember Nhu occasionally sends out an email newsletter to those who have indicated they want to receive such communications. Remember Nhu does not release those email addresses or other personal/private information to any outside parties.

What if I need to review or change the personal information I previously disclosed?

Individuals who have subscribed to one of our email communication pieces can change their information or be removed from the list by sending an email to terry@remembernhu.org.

What kind of security is used to protect my information?

Remember Nhu’s e-commerce/online giving system uses SSL encryption to protect sensitive data transmissions from your computer to its Website. Users are able to see when the SSL encryption is active either by the "padlock" icon at the bottom of your browser's window or by a blue line around the window.

Who has access to my information?

We do not share personally identifiable data with other organizations. The only exception to this rule may be if Remember Nhu has to share information in response to a legal process, such as a court order or subpoena.
