“Remember Nhu” Newsletter, Vol. 2, No. 1, winter 2005
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
New Supporters for “Remember Nhu”
Exciting things are happening in this New Year. New supporters all along the age and experience spectrum are becoming supporters of “Remember Nhu.” Dr. John David Geib met Cyndi while traveling through the West Palm Beach Airport. Cyndi owns a business that creates websites, and does two non-profit websites a year for causes in which she believes. After John explained “Remember Nhu” to her and she spoke with Carl, she agreed to do our website pro bono. Visit us at http://www.remembernhu.com/
Carl Ralston met a man on a plane from Colorado to Cleveland who allowed Carl to show him the “Remember Nhu” presentation. He seemed impressed and I hope he will be joining our cause in some way. I was particularly touched by Taylor, a young of 10 in our church. Taylor is selling white chocolate suckers and has raised over $100 in one month for the children in Asia. Please pray for these people helping to save children around the world. We now have about $1,500 monthly income from contributors. I have attached a copy of the commitment sheet if you know of anyone interested in joining Cyndi and Taylor as a “new supporter.”
“Remember Nhu” writes our first “support” check
We will be writing our first check to a partner ministry, Grace Ministries, in April, 2005 for the building of a girls dorm. This will allow them to double the number of girls they are able to save from the sex trade. Construction will begin in April, and please pray for this as costs rising and that the work is done well and without complications. I will be taking a group of people to SE Asia the first week of September. If you are interested in joining us, please call me at 330.645.7007. We will visit Grace Ministry, New Life Ministry and some other ministries. Grace Ministry should have the new dorm built by so we will see the results of “Remember Nhu’s” first investment.
